The Big Bang Theory!

Recently, I had an argument with one of my friends on the credibility of Big Bang Theory. One mass - Big Explosion - Bham Bham - Objects – Galaxies – Stars - Forces! A typical one-to-many example. Is it just a fragment of a man’s creative imagination?
Personal opinion: A colorful believable picture. The kind of theories that made science text books interesting, and star-gazing imaginative. But right now, applying it to a different facet of life, I find it explaining lot more than how the universe was formed.
Taking a typical scenario, consider the first day in office, where a group of people have joined together. They are from different backgrounds and have different mentalities, but are bound together by a common need to survive.
Fast forward it to 3 months from then. Groups - friends – enemies – crushes - lovers. Smiles and greetings are as scarce as the get-togethers of the first few exciting days.
The solid mass splits, leaving in its wake, few galaxies and few stray objects in the universe. They are moving away, slowly, but surely. But as they say, what will be, will be.

:)i have had such a discussion....
questioning the credibility of the srikhrishna bhakts thoughts; 'world was created by none other than the lord himself'...its a funny aspect!! trying to match science n religion....and religion to religion....and still there r only theories....

I believe Science and religion to be different perspectives of the same point. Shall we say that the big bang was caused by the Supreme?

thats still leaving it without a definition...whts supreme?

You don't believe in God? You don't think there is some force's hand which created the world, and manages it now?!

some force which created the world?'yes' but believe that to be 'god'....'no'. But, if someone asks me is there some force which is controling certain aspects of life...'yes', and i dont know what it is (after all its human decisions and the outcome is also a result of what we do).....we have grown up hearing ramayan & mahabharat; hence our belief is strengthened abt 'god'....and we dont bother to question...but i do have my list of endless questions

and the question of manage...? hmm...i only see a lot of mis-management....
if there was a supreme power monitoring all aspects....why so many deaths? why natural catastrophies occur...?....ofcourse, i do agree what the humans do cannot be controlled...

What you term as super-power is termed by some as God ... a force which we are yet to define, which leads to some coincidences, and miracles. As for the mis-management, everything has a reason in a long run!

There r no answers to these questions, so its just personal beliefs...
Okie...see this is at best, the closest i have to as my belief oer the years: from the movie dasavatharam, and wht one of ur friend has written in her blog...
"Naan kadavul illa nu sollalae, aana irundha nalla irukkum nu sonnen"
thinking that god is there always and then cursing when things dont go ur way doesnt help....
